Cozy Mountain Cabin in Blowing Rock with Hot Tub

Peaceful, relaxed stay. Enjoyed nearby hiking trails. Positive: Nice, quiet location Negative: It seems there was a mouse in the walls. It made a lot of noise chewing on things the one night.

It was a very cute cabin in the woods. It had a rustic feel which we liked. Plenty of coffee cups and coffe, bring your Positive: It was a very pretty setting Negative: Too close to the hwy. Didn’t like hearing the traffic and too far from town for us

The cabin was a great little get away, perfect for 2 people. It is in a convenient location, close enough to Blowing Rock to easily go into town for dinner but far enough removed for it to be quiet and relaxing. It is near enough to the highway to occasionally hear traffic, but only if you are sitting out on the front porch. The kitchen was a little sparse in cooking equipment and glassware, and there was only 1 burner on the stove that worked, but if you aren't planning on doing much cooking while there then it wouldn't be an issue. The hot tub is located on the back side of the cabin which was perfect and was already on and perfectly hot when we arrived. The check in and out processes were extremely easy as well. Even though we only live 15 minutes away, we would definitely consider staying here again for a nice quiet night away.

Enjoyed celebrating our 45th anniversary here! Positive: The location of this property is located just a few miles from Tweetsie Railroad and only about 6 miles to Blowing Rock and 11 to Boone. A very easy drive to all. We had no problem getting to anything we wanted to see. The cabin was clean and we have no complaints at all. The Owners were very attentive. Negative: Nothing at all!
