Sarah Janes Cottage at Doe Creek with Hot Tub, Fireplace, Pond and Multiple Acres to Explore! Close to App Ski Mountain!

Cute cottage with a lot of potential Positive: Loved the fireplace, and the view was amazing. There is plenty of room to explore and walk around the property. Other cabins were far enough away that we did have some privacy. The upstairs bedroom was clean and nice and very big with a nice high ceiling and lots of gorgeous morning light. Negative: Downstairs floors were not swept, and the rug wasn't vacuumed. I was going to vacuum, but it had been used and not emptied. It was full of dirt and hair. Downstairs wasn't as clean as the upstairs room. We found a feminine sanitary napkin in the downstairs bathroom trashcan the night we arrived on the property. Damp sheets were left in the dryer. The couch in the living room was big enough for only 2 adult sized people. The other chair was covered in hair and dirty. We covered it with a bed sheet so my husband would have somewhere to sit while we watched TV. Also, the fridge was a little stinky and didn't get very cold.

We really enjoyed our stay!! The jacuzzi was very cleaned and the location was beautiful. Positive: Amazing location. It was a little hard to find since we arrived around 10pm. We saw several deers in the mornings. Really quiet and beautiful place to stay. Negative: There was a sock in the bathroom, leftover food in the fridge, trash bin was broken, and the upstairs toilet water is constantly flowing until you fix it. No big deal.

It was a great stay overall, exactly what we needed. Positive: I loved the location and the space was great for us and our two pups. Negative: We didn’t use the hot tub because it was dirty. I suggest that it gets cleaned more often. There was stuff caked up on the sides.

Loved the cabin and the proximity to town. We loved the open spaces outside, our dog had plenty of room to play. Lots of wildlife too. Would definitely stay there again.
